The Collège Bourget Foundation

Support development

The Collège Bourget Foundation annually awards scholarships to two categories of students:

Two scholarships are awarded to two students currently at Collège Bourget.

  • These scholarships come as a support to their learning journey. The recipients are selected by the board of directors of the establishment.

Scholarships of up to $2,000 each are awarded to alumni pursuing post-secondary education.

  • A selection committee assess the submissions and recommends granting a scholarship.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • To have completed a secondary level education at Bourget, where you have studied for a minimum of 3 years
  • To have successfully passed a year of post-secondary studies and to be registered to a CEGEP or university in September.
  • To present outstanding academic results throughout the year or years preceding your request.
  • To be an involved student (socially, in the community, politically, athletically, culturally, spiritually, etc.).

How to proceed

Present the following document before October 15th, at 3 pm, at Collège Bourget’s general management office:

  • Your most recent resume and at least two letters of recommendation;
  • A letter (200 to 300 words) supporting your request and explaining your financial needs, motivation and plans for the future;
  • A copy of your CEGEP and university report cards (if applicable);
  • A picture of you, preferably on which you are by yourself.

2016 Recipients

The selection committee recommended five submissions to the Foundation’s board of directors.

Here are the five recipients who were awarded a $1,000 scholarship during the Foundation’s fundraising dinner that took place on Friday, November 4, 2016, at Château Vaudreuil.

The 2016 recipients are:

  • Claudia Minato (Class of 2013)
  • Rébéca Guilbert (Class of 2012)
  • Élizabeth Lafontaine (Class of 2012)
  • Maire-Laure Maher (Class of 2012)
  • Charles Jolin-Landry (Class of 2008)

2015 Recipients

The selection committee recommended five submissions amongst the 14 they received to the Foundation’s board of directors.

Here are the five recipients who were awarded a $1,000 scholarship during the Foundation’s fundraising dinner that took place on Friday, November 13, 2015, at Château Vaudreuil.

The 2015 recipients are:

  • Sophia Ferchiou (Class of 2011)
  • Philippe Fortin (Class of 2010)
